Independence and Conflict
Zionism and Jewish Settlement
When Jews began to migrate and settle on Europe they suffered severly from Anti-Semitism, which is discrimination against the Jews and their beliefs. Because of this the Jews decided to create a movement called Zionism which was its purpose was to create a safe place or state in which they could establish their people and live away from all that discrimination.
Zionism functioned as a government for Jews before there was even a state or settlement for them.
It influences the politics of Israel until this present day.
The Zionism movement helped Jews to create an opportunity to have a state, a safe place which all Jews around the world could call home. Some of the Proposed homelands for Jews were Alaska and Uganda, but Jerusalem was the place that favored most of the Jews at that time because of their ancient connections with the place.
Zionism today isn't as much of a powerful and influencing organization as it was before but it is still around on the present days, now recalled and known as the World Zionist Organization which along Israel Government encourages Jews to settle down in Palestinian land.
A Visit to the Zoo
A Visit To The Zoo
The visit to the Zoo "La Aurora" was a really fun activity to do, watching all the animals plus we got the rally activity which was kind of challenging to do, finding the exact animal the sentence was describing. Really liked this activity in my opinion i just wished it was longer lasting since time just flew away.
Species in Danger
Animal species in danger or Animal species endangering are terms used when they are disappearing fast from the face of the Earth or are very sparsely populated around the globe, the next animals im showing are some of the species in danger that I found in the Zoo.
Bengal Tiger
is the most numerous of the tiger subspecies. By 2011, the total population was estimated at fewer than 2,500 individuals with a decreasing trend. None of the Tiger Conservation Landscapes within the Bengal tiger's range is considered large enough to support an effective population size of 250 adult individuals. An example of charismatic megafauna, the Bengal tiger is the most familiar tiger subspecies, as well as the second largest subspecies, after the Siberian tiger.
Ring-Tailed Lemur
Despite reproducing readily in captivity and being the most populous lemur in zoos worldwide, numbering more than 2,000 individuals, the ring-tailed lemur is listed as endangered by the IUCN Red List due to habitat destruction and hunting for bush meat and the exotic pet trade. As of early 2017, the population in the wild is believed to have crashed as low as 2,000 individuals due to habitat loss, poaching and hunting, making them far more critically endangered.Bactrian Camel
is a large, even-toed ungulate native to the steppes of Central Asia. The Bactrian camel has two humps on its back, as does the Wild Bactrian camel (a separate species), but in contrast to the single-humped dromedary came. Its population of two million exists mainly in the domesticated form. Their name comes from the ancient historical region of Bactria. Even though it has a high population in its domesticated form the Wild Bactrian Camel is endangered.

The beliefs and traditions of Christianity are based on the teachings that Jesus and his apostles left behind in the Bible for Christians. Christians believe that Jesus was God in a human form and saw his death and ressurection as a proof of forgiveness that God has.

A Craddle of Civilization
A Craddle of Civilization
Israel and its
neighbors are in the area of the Fertile Crescent. The civilization in this
area began practicing agriculture, they developed new tools for farming, for
example: Plows
The villages these
agricultors had built grew into being towns. One of the oldest being Jericho
still exists today and is now called the West Bank.
The origins of Judaism
In the present day
Israel and Palestinian Territories were once called Canaan. The people in
Canaan were pagans meaning they worship multiple Gods. People known as
Israelites moved into the region of Canaan, the Israelites practiced
monontheism meaning they would only worship one God, the religion of Israelites
came to be known as Judaism.
The Israelites rejected the Caanites so they
left to Egypt but they were enslaved by them, according to the Bible, Moses, a
prophet went to Egypt to free Israelites from the Pharaoh power and guided them
to Jerusalem, howerver Jerusalem, known as the Israelite Kingdom of Judah at
the time, was conquered by the Babylonia Empire in 587 B.C.
The Babylonian Empire
destroyed the Temple of Jerusalem and kept captive many Judah people, however
Persian Empire defeated Babylonian Empire and all the Judah scattered in a
diaspora. After this the Judad began calling themselves Jews. The Region
eventually came under control of the Roman Empire which forced Jews to pay massive
amount of money in taxes, also killed thousands of Jews throughout this time.
Many Jews fled the region and the Romans banned the entrance of Jews to
Jerusalem.
